Description:

The purpose of the Global Marketing Science, Analytics and Productivity team is to identify predictable, sustainable business results through analytics, and to ensure that they are activated driving growth in every business that we operate.
The future is going to evolve fast, around multivariate testing, disparate data integration and automated analytics and processes. Analytics are going to look a lot different to the manual version we are used to today, and the way we think about fully funded media and our approaches to achieve and activate this must evolve. Staying ahead of this will be absolutely critical to the long term success of The Coca-Cola Company. 
The Director Emerging Analytics is responsible for identifying these opportunities and setting out an approach to test and learn about them and how they can be applied to our business. In addition they will be responsible for driving the transformation agenda for our existing analytic methodologies, identifying new approaches to drive efficiency which will include automation and process improvements, as well as incorporating new tools and techniques.
This position will look for external partners to help us develop and deploy our transformation agenda and will work in conjunction with BU and K&I leaders to gain alignment, prioritization, and to ensure the delivery of financial results and team development as the solutions are implemented.  It requires a confident and persuasive leader with a successful track record developing and implementing project plans, building relationships with and influencing senior leaders and partners.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities (Top 5-8 core responsibilities)
Develop the transformation agenda for our tools of the future – identify new analytic approaches and update our existing ones to includeBuild Enhanced Consumer Learning by leveraging Digital, Social, Behavioral and Public data
Develop Precision Targeting and Marketing tools and approaches for TCCC
Build TCCC holistic performance drivers capability (agile measurement and action)

Drive Thought Leadership about new approaches internally, influencing senior leadership to adopt the transformation agenda and BU partners to activate it.
Create a roadmap and an ambitious pilot program to bring this new thinking and techniques against real business problems with methodologies that unlock significant growth for TCCC. Ensure pilots are closely monitored and fail fast or move to scaling.
Work with the center and BU to fund and deploy these pilots and to scale the successful ones into Core Capabilities and ensure they align to business processes
Drive delivery of the transformation working closely with partners in S&I, IT and the BU 
Education Requirements: 
Bachelor’s Degree Required: Preference for Advanced degree in a science (pure or applied), econometrics, maths or statistics
Related Work Experience: 
10+ years of work experience in advanced analytics, decision or data science or relevant related field.
Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of business team management. Excellent written, analytical and communication skills.
Significant experience in managing various vendors (eg Nielsen, I4I, Fractal, Kantar, Analytic Edge, BAYES); understanding their methodologies and applying their outputs to tailor advanced analytics projects ensuring that we get the maximum benefit from our investment in this area.
Highly analytical, confident and persuasive leader with a successful track record in building cross functional / geographical boundary relationships using analytics to influence Senior Leaders in developing and implementing both tactical and strategic plans.
Proven track record of effectively leading and developing both direct reports and other key TCCC employees in local markets. (NB this role does not have any direct reports)
Demonstrated the ability to build and deliver project/transformation plans across a matrixed organization
Proven change agent who is not just willing but pro-actively seeks to positively change business results by acting and thinking differently and constantly keeping up to date with industry leaders and trends

Experience building predictive modeling, data mining and statistical analysis.
