Position Overview
The Enterprise Architect will provide high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff. The Enterprise Architect will develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines in accordance with the strategy and goals of the organization. This role will work closely with the broader architecture team to create, communicate, and refine insight and recommendations. Broad technology knowledge and flexibility to work across technology domains is critical to long term success.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy), as well as change requirements in other enterprise architecture viewpoints, to drive the enterprise architecture change requirements to guide solution decisions for the enterprise.
Understand and advocate the principles of business and IT strategies, as well as of enterprise architecture development and service delivery.
Participate in the enterprise architecture development including articulating the architecture vision, and modeling the data, application and technical architectures and application portfolio management.
Deliver results to the organization based on business requirements and IT strategies.
Collaborate on implementation plans that move toward the target enterprise architecture and align projects with architecture strategies and roadmaps.
Consult with application development, security and infrastructure teams to ensure technology solutions are designed for optimal security, support, interoperability and enterprise usefulness.
Oversee and document the strategic level target state design of the technology architecture for the enterprise
Manage and continuously improve the design of architecture and processes
Act as a leader and advocate for application integration, including coaching and training for extended architecture team
Partner with cross functional stakeholders and internal teams to understand top business needs.
Build business cases and prioritize requirements 
 
 Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree Required
Related Work Experience: 7-12 years of work experience in IT or relevant related field, with specific experience in Tower related activity.  Experience in architecture, design, development, testing and implementation over multiple technologies, geographic locations, size and scale of projects.
Broad technology knowledge and flexibility to work across technology domains
Proven experience in integration of Enterprise Applications with mobile & web interfaces
Strong customer focus with demonstrated push for value & continuous improvement
Experience working with external resources (onshore and offshore)

 Functional Skills:   
Create and refine conceptual alternatives of business process, technology design and blueprint or infrastructure assessment to create the physical environment needed to develop, test, train and deploy the solution.
Provide consultation and assistance to internal business clients for the creation of client business plans.
Assess the need for IT standards and policies (e.g., hardware, software packages, business data, information security and retention) to ensure protection of Company assets and greatest benefit to the Company.
Establish and maintain the architecture and standard technology products in order to enable consistent, reusable and efficient practices within the IT function.
Evaluate and make recommendations on requests to use non-compliant technologies in order to promote standard compliance and reduce complexity.
