  We are looking for a Legal Compliance Manager who will be a key support to our Business Unit Counsel and Legal counsel on an interesting variety of work for the South Pacific region (AU, NZ and Pacific Islands)

Key Duties/Responsibilities
General legal advice work and risk assessments on variety of matters including Consumer and Competition Law, IP, Employment Law, Property, M&A
Management, drafting and review of a large database of legal contracts including, without limitation, Agency Agreements, Sponsorship Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Residential Tenancy Agreements, DME Agreements, Insights Agreements, Software/IT Agreements, Professional Service Agreements
Management of authorizations and consents under our Bottler’s Agreements;
Intellectual Property and Trademark portfolio management in partnership with our Corporate IP team- including briefing outside counsel and TM advice work
Review and Approval of all Social and Digital Marketing and Customer Trade Marketing
Compliance Training in Anti-Bribery and Consumer Law including support to Legal Counsel in management of the overall Business Unit Compliance Program including drafting business updates and reporting
Management and Conduct of Legal Risk Assessments for consumer promotional activities
Privacy Officer for AU and NZ
Workplace Health and Safety Committee Member
Support Legal Counsel in drafting and updating of policies
Maintain CCSP and CCO company secretarial records including preparation of AGM’s, Agendas, board minutes and resolutions and lodgment of statutory filings
Support Procurement and Global Compliance teams in the issuance of Supplier Authorization Agreements and liaise with Global Compliance on Testing and Supplier Guiding Principles compliance and audits
Legal Orientation sessions for all new hires

Core Competencies
High level contract drafting and negotiation skills;
High level of Intellectual Property and Trademark knowledge;
Generalist legal knowledge across a broad base of practice areas including, by way of example, contracts, IP and Consumer Laws
Strong Training and Presentation skills
Applicant must have a Growth Mindset and Strong Leadership skills including being externally focused, empowered, fast, smart risk taker and accountable
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines and prioritize work that matters most
Strategic visionary thinker with ability to redefine and streamline role and simplify processes
Ability to analyze complex problems quickly but accurately and be decisive and solutions focused
High commercial acumen and strong risk assessment skills

Preference will be given to Applicants with a Law Degree
Experience in private practice and in-house preferred
