Position Overview
The Project Manager role is an essential component in our drive towards rapid delivery of IT solutions to the business.. This role supports the Coca-Cola HR Center of Excellence (COE) team and development partners across the software development lifecycle and will work with multiple stakeholders, product owners, developers, and quality assurance testers to ensure on-time quality delivery of technology solutions and applications.
The ideal candidate will show the ability to understand a business challenge, devise an approach to address, structure the work, and execute the work.  Demonstrate collaboration and listening skills; show flexibility in solution design; and aggressively and relentlessly focus on delivery.  Show passion for the Coca-Cola Company and its shareholders, with a bias for action, an intense curiosity to learn, and a passion for results. Hold others accountable for delivery on schedule.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
Facilitating elicitation and documentation of business requirements into high-level project scope documentation
Developing project charters, project plans, and implementation plans, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
Removing impediments to projects and delivery, aggressively managing risks and issues and maintaining always up to date project plans, risk mitigation plans, project budgets, and project governance routines.
Building a trusting and safe environment to air issues and concerns and supports collaborative problem solving
Facilitating getting the work done, discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
Operational excellence focus.  Problem definition, root cause analysis, lean, and other simplification techniques.
Expertise in core planning skills including task definition, RACI and role sort, resource balancing, critical path analysis, dependency types, slack, contingency.
Recognizing inflection points in a project and show skill and good judgment in escalation, replanning, stopping, or changing approach.
Demonstrating relentless drive in executing tasks on time, on budget, on scope, on quality.
Understanding stakeholders.  Communicating status at the level of detail required by the audience.  Demonstrate knowledge of waterfall and/or SCRUM methods in developing solutions.
Demonstrating ability to balance the delivery of technology, information/data, process improvements, and people aspects of a capability. Structuring and executing work for the technology (design, build, test, traceability, deployment, and support.), data (data migration, data cleanup, data maintenance, and process (current and future state of processes), to ensure that process/data/technology come together to deliver a full capability.
Ensuring that new solutions are well received by users with excellent communications planning and execution; change management / business impact analysis; and assistance with training needs and delivery.
Deploying new solutions to user base, taking into account existing technology landscape, standards and controls, and upcoming changes across multiple technology environments (as applicable).
Proposing / create / manage budgets and rolling estimates.  Deliver projects within 10% of budget consistently.
Giving direction to and supervising others (who may be senior and/or in different departments) by offering approaches to be used and following up to ensure timely and quality execution against expectations.
Provide feedback to others in order to enhance their job performance.
Determining priorities for one's area of accountability to create clarity about focus and enable work to be completed efficiently. Providing direction, focus and set priorities for the relationship with IT vendors.
Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience is required;  or, Master’s Degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will hold at least a first level Project Manager certification (PMI) although we will support training and certification for otherwise well qualified candidates.

Related Work Experience:  5-10 years of experience
5+ yrs working in Software related industry
2+ yrs as project manager of multiple embedded technology teams
Work experience across geographic and culturally diverse teams
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
A true people leader with clear experience of coaching, mentoring and developing others
Requires effective communication with cross-functional teams and management.
Software Delivery Lifecycle: Ability to apply the standards of test driven development methods covering the full development lifecycle (e.g., project preparation, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support) to ensure solution quality and consistency of process.
Project Management: Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to apply the principles, tools and techniques to develop/plan, manage or execute projects or workplans to ensure successful completion (e.g., on time, within budget).

Monitor plan and execution progress to resolve any plan variances and provide accurate communication to stakeholders.
Establish project measures to ensure that the project is on-time, on-budget and meets the customers specifications.
Orchestrate the deployment of resources (e.g., people, infrastructure, financial, informational) from Coca-Cola (e.g., client, internal service providers) and third parties in order to ensure successful project completion.
Create a communications plan (e.g., memos, letters, plan review meetings, status lists) to ensure frequent, accurate and timely communication to all stakeholders and to solidify commitment to the project plan.
Lead resolution and re-planning activities with stakeholders to realign strategies and close identified gaps.
