Description:

This position provides direct support for all Sample Administration processes including routine customer sample-related requests.  Responsibilities include unpacking sample shipments, sample management, sample information entry into LIMS database; interfacing with internal customers and suppliers. Provides assistance to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer requests.  Knowledge of IT systems related to the lab/task. Basic understanding and application of the quality system and the quality related documents. Works under direct supervision. This positon is based in our Ingredient Quality Department – Florida, located in Apopka, FL. All candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Ability to use all common software applications to support functions, including creating spreadsheets, quality documents, LIMS.
Knowledge of information required to accurately and quickly enter data for multiple data points per entry in time-sensitive situations. 
Attention to Detail: Accomplish tasks in such a way that maximum efficiency is matched by accuracy and thoroughness.  Consistently checking tasks against approved processes.
Knowledge of the importance of ensuring the safety and appropriate utilization of all Company assets. This includes the appropriate use of Company trademarks, logos, assets, terminology and data, treating information confidentially, and ensuring workplace safety.
Ability to communicate with others, via telephone, computer or in person, in a professional and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport. This includes the ability to understand, be diplomatic and tactful, and maintain composure in negative circumstances in order to achieve results.
Knowledge of the principles of documentation management. Ability to create, approve, track and file documents and records in compliance Quality Management System or other formal guidelines.
 Ability to read, write and speak the English language is required.
Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
Related Work Experience: Experience in data entry, customer service and/or office administration
