Description:

Hiring for 2 similar roles! 

Manage and execute product research and development global projects with close relationship to lead BUs; this could include but not limited to proposing new project direction, conducting proper investigation, put together proposals with right technical background / depth, conducting risks assessments, developing, and validating new product Innovation that supports global stills priorities to deliver sustainable competitive advantage for growth and brand value.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Innovation / Project management:
Plans & manages own projects and priorities according to the stablished strategies

Independently lead product development work in the Lab

Able to make routine decisions independently.

Identify, suggest & implement improvement in the area of responsibility.

Identify, suggest operating process or capability improvement

Has a good overview of system dynamic: CPS, manufacturing, bottler, value chain.

Able to understand and translate sensory & consumer test results into Innovation.

Generate proper reports that can be used to influence project direction up and sidewise

Able to think and influence End to End and conduct risks assessments
Technical proficiency / Functional Expertise

Development & Production of prototypes at lab scale applying own expertise.

Properly understand and follow good lab practices safely with proper record keeping.

Ability to resolve technical challenge, with proper depth and technical rationales

Calculation of formulation using SLDS

Production of sample with the pilot plant of both beverage base parts and final products

Filling accurately FMS database, stability request,

Keep clarity updated and other TCCC databases  according of our internal policy

Description of manufacturing conditions

Have a good understanding of SRA

Provide input of best practices for production of BB part or finished products during production trials at either CP and/or bottler

Agility to learn, expand knowledge, and broaden skills.

Star to be recognized subject matter expert in field of expertise

Elevate risks, issues, or help needed appropriately

Consult line manager as appropriate on milestones & general guidelines.

Able to independently identify and communicate within and outside the project team – SRA, Marketing, Procurement, Analytical, Legal, K&I, TCR, QSE, among others.

Proactively provides advice inside & outside R&D community
Supervisory activities:

Responsibility for assigning work to direct report (Technician, junior developer)

Identify & provide appropriate personal development or technical training.
Lead and enable product developers to increase their knowledge on beverage development, manufacturing and understanding the TCCC system

 Education Requirements: 
BS/MS/Ph.D (depending of the experience) in food science, chemistry or relative field.

Related Work Experience: 
4+ years for BS/MS, product development experience, 1+ with Ph.D.
